Dr. Matthew “Matt” Diminick is committed to providing comprehensive, personalized eye care for patients of all ages. He believes in taking the time to understand each patient’s unique vision needs while delivering thorough exams and customized treatment plans. With special interests in contact lenses and ocular disease management, Dr. Diminick is dedicated to helping patients achieve and maintain lifelong eye health.
Originally from Kingsport, Tennessee, Dr. Diminick is excited to call the Charleston area home and looks forward to building lasting relationships with patients and families throughout the community. He sees patients at Lowcountry Eye Care’s Goose Creek and West Ashley locations.
Educational
Dr. Diminick earned his Bachelor of Human Health Sciences from the University of Kentucky, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, where he developed a strong clinical foundation in primary eye care and disease management.

As a member of both the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the South Carolina Optometric Physicians Association (SCOPA), Dr. Diminick remains committed to staying current with advances in eye care to provide his patients with the highest standard of treatment.
Outside of the office, Dr. Diminick enjoys spending time at local breweries, relaxing at the beach, reading, playing Xbox with friends, and cheering on his favorite sports teams. Dr. Diminick looks forward to welcoming new and returning patients at Lowcountry Eye Care’s Goose Creek and West Ashley offices.
