Every comprehensive eye exam at Lowcountry Eye Care includes an Optomap retinal scan. It captures an ultra-wide, 200-degree image of the retina in less than a second, allowing us to detect many eye diseases long before symptoms develop. It also allows us to monitor subtle changes in your eye health, helping better protect your vision. The scan is performed for a fee of $39 and is mandatory for every eye exam.
Your Experience with Us
After we’ve welcomed you in and talked through your reasons for visiting, we’ll perform a few pre-screening tests to give our doctors all the information they need ahead of your exam. Then, our doctors will really get to know you and your vision, while a technician notes all the necessary details.
