What Is Optomap Retinal Imaging?
Optomap is an advanced retinal imaging system that captures an ultra-wide, 200-degree image of the retina in less than half a second. Unlike traditional retinal examinations, which only allow eye doctors to see a small portion of the retina, Optomap provides a much more complete view of the back of your eye, all without touching your eye and, for most, without the need for dilation.
This detailed image becomes part of your permanent medical record, allowing us to compare your retinal health year after year.
