Get to Know Dr. Restuccio
After earning her graduate degree, Sara Restuccio, O.D., served as a technician and secretary at a private practice in Powell, OH. It was at this practice that she discovered her passion for eye care and decided to explore it further at The Ohio State University. She enjoys treating patients of all ages and conditions and has a special interest in using hard contact lenses to treat dry eye and corneal irregularities.
Originally from Columbus, OH, Dr. Restuccio came to Charleston to complete her residency, specializing in contact lenses and low vision. After quickly falling in love with the community, Dr. Restuccio knew immediately that she wanted to call Charleston home. When she isn’t making a difference in her patients’ lives, she loves exploring the outdoors — from kayaking down Shem Creek to rollerblading the West Ashley Greenway.
